Peter Holland has been working in the film industry for almost fifteen years.

Starting out as a camera/lighting assistant, he has worked on major feature films including Babe, the Matrix trilogies, Birthday Girl and Moulin Rouge.

Peter's first film feature as D.P. 'Gabriel' earned him an ACS Gold Award. It was shot on a miniscule budget of $200,000 and was purchased by Sony Pictures for International Theatrical distribution.

His second film “The Nothing Men” was one of the first films in the world to be shot on 4K Red cameras. He has since completed shooting two more feature films on Red, 'Cedar Boys' and 'Mother Fish'.

Peter has won many awards for his work and is a leading proponent of digital cinematography.

ALCHEMY accessed the prototype RED ONE's through Lemac. Being the first RED'S in the country Lemac documented our experience via 3 visual diaries. Weeks 1 & 2 are technically orientated, week 3 interviewed the producers about their experience once the film had been shot & the cameras had proved themselves.
